Doris was born in Kenton, Hardin, OH, USA on Saturday, January 3, 1931. Doris always said she was born in Kenton, but while her birth certificate says her parents both lived in Kenton, it also says Doris was born in Goshen township, just east of Pleasant township where most of Kenton is located.
